David Balondemu

David Balondemu is a Ugandan lawyer[1], chairperson of the Kampala District Land Board[2], and Vice Chairman of the FUFA Discipline Committee[3]. He is widely respected for his contributions to the legal field and his roles in public service.

Career

Balondemu is a lawyer affiliated with Balon Advocates and Bloom Advocates. As chairperson of the Kampala District Land Board, he oversees land allocation and management in the capital city. His position has been scrutinized due to allegations of fraudulent land allocations and the misuse of board resolutions.

He was the of Land and Border Commission, Uganda.[4][5]

Criticism

Balondemu has faced numerous criticism and legal charges.[6][7] These include allegations of defrauding[8] local and international companies and forging official documents.[9]

Despite facing multiple warrants and accusations, some charges[8] have been dropped due to insufficient evidence. Public scrutiny and investigations are ongoing.[10]
