Ananya Mondal is a Bangladeshi Wikimedian who was named the 2021 Media Contributor of the Year by the Wikimedia Foundation, the nonprofit organization that operates Wikipedia.[1] She was also recognized as the 2021 Wikimedian of the Year in the Rich Media category. This recognition was announced in an article published on Diff on August 15, 2021.[1]
