Types of Deletable Content
- Unsourced Articles
- Articles without reliable sources that cannot be verified. - Articles tagged for improvement must be updated within 30 days to avoid deletion.
- Spam or Advertising
- Articles or pages created solely for promotional purposes.
- Copyright Violations
- Content copied directly from other sources without proper attribution.
- Irrelevant Topics
- Articles that do not align with Bhikitia’s scope or guidelines.
- Articles with Vandalism
- Pages created with offensive, nonsensical, or inappropriate content.
- Redundant or Duplicate Articles
- Articles covering the same topic unnecessarily.
- Personal Pages or Non-Notable Topics
- Topics without general interest or verifiability.
Deletion Process
- Tagging for Deletion
- Use the {{Deletion}} template to notify administrators and editors.
- Discussion Period
- Articles marked for deletion will have a 14-day discussion period on the Bhikitia:Deletion Discussion Board.
- Administrator Review
- Administrators assess the discussion and make a final decision based on Bhikitia’s policies.
- Immediate Deletion (Speedy Deletion)
- For cases of blatant policy violations (e.g., spam, vandalism).
Restoration of Deleted Articles
- If a user believes an article was deleted unfairly, they may request a review within 30 days of deletion.
- The article may be restored if sufficient evidence of compliance with policies is provided.
